Joel graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree from University College London, University of London and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore in 2016.
Joel has assisted in a wide spectrum of contentious matters, including contractual claims, company and shareholder disputes, as well as matters relating to employment, defamation, and insolvency. He has also been involved in a number of complex commercial arbitration cases.
Additionally, Joel has assisted in criminal trials and appeals at all levels of the Singapore Courts. These matters include white-collar crime, immigration-related offences, and offences under the Penal Code.
Joel believes that the full measure of justice can only be achieved with empathy and an even hand. He strives to understand each client's unique circumstances before coming up with practical solutions that advance their interests. In doing so, he aims to secure just and equitable results for his clients.
